Allison Welch, M.Ed., GPC, has spent more than 25 years writing grants and working in nonprofit management. She holds a master's degree in adult education, is an approved trainer with the Grant Professionals Association, and has taught as an adjunct professor at several Washington state colleges.

She founded Spark the Fire Grant Writing Classes to give other grant writers the structured training and peer support she wished she had earlier in her career. Through courses, coaching, and the Spark the Fire Grant Writer Community, she has helped train more than 7,000 people across nonprofit, tribal, and government organizations.
