André Miranda is the Founder and CEO of Musiversal, a Portugal-based music tech entrepreneur working at the intersection of media, music, and technology. He studied at New York University, completing both a Master's degree in 2013 and a Pre-PhD program in 2015 on a full scholarship from the prestigious Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation — and it was during his time at NYU that the seeds of Musiversal were planted. He brings deep roots in the orchestral world, having worked with 99 Orchestra, The West European Symphony Orchestra, and Cord Music Worldwide before turning his attention to building a platform that could democratize access to professional musicians for all creators. His entrepreneurial talent was recognized early — he won the National Creative Industries Award in 2014, graduated top of the class from Lisbon Challenge in 2018, and won the pitch competition at the Lisbon Investment Summit in 2019.
