Anie Akpe is a serial entrepreneur and tech advocate with over 25 years of experience spanning banking, real estate, and technology. Born in Nigeria and based in New York, she built an impressive career in banking, rising to Vice President of Mortgages where she managed a $1.5 billion real estate portfolio before pivoting to the tech sector.

Driven by a belief that access to technology should be universal, Anie founded IBOM LLC, launched digital media platform Innov8tiv in 2013, and went on to establish both Lumohubs and African Women in Technology (AWIT). Through AWIT, she has empowered thousands of women across Africa and the diaspora with skills, mentorship, and networks needed to build careers in tech.
