Arabic Journey is an online Arabic learning platform founded by Michael (Mikail), who grew up in the Netherlands without any Arabic background and learned the language entirely from scratch to university level. His credentials include a diploma in Arabic from the Islamic University of Rotterdam, a Bachelor's in Arabic and Islamic Sciences from Al-Azhar University, a PhD candidacy in Fiqh at the International Islamic University Malaysia, and an ijazah in Qur'an and Tajwid.

Having walked the path himself, he built Arabic Journey to guide Dutch-speaking students through a clear, structured curriculum, backed by over 15 years of teaching experience.
