I founded Startups.nl with one goal: create a practical, welcoming home for Dutch startup founders, investors, and mentors who want to help each other grow. I've been building companies in the Netherlands for years, and the one thing I kept noticing was how much founders were navigating alone — missing the kind of community where people share real experience, not polished advice.

Startups.nl launched in April 2026 and is built around the idea that the people who've already been through the hard parts of building a startup are your most valuable resource. I want to create the platform where those connections happen naturally — where honest stories get shared, and where founders at every stage feel like they belong.
