Kayla Kim Votapek 김난주 (she/her) is the Executive Director of the Consortium of Asian American Theaters and Artists (CAATA), the national organization advancing AANHPI, SWANA, MENA, and Mixed Race theater through collective action, community building, and artistic solidarity. CAATA has grown into the primary national home for AANHPI, SWANA, MENA, and mixed race communities, hosting the biennial ConFest and supporting equity-centered cultural work across the country. Based in New York, Kayla leads the organization's day-to-day operations, strategic partnerships, and membership engagement across a national network of theaters, companies, and independent artists. A Korean American adoptee and multidisciplinary artist, she also leads her own consulting practice, In;Between Artistry LLC, and brings a background as an Anti-Racist Consultant and Creative Producer to her work advancing equity in the field.
