Camp Addict was founded in 2017 by full-time RVers Marshall Wendler and Kelly Beasley. They were frustrated by how little complete, reliable information existed online about RV products and services, and built a resource to fill that gap.

In April 2024, Schwalm Inc, a Southern California OEM RV parts distributor with more than 45 years in the industry, acquired Camp Addict. The team continues to publish RV guides and reviews and runs Camp Addict Insiders as its member community.
