Dr. Cindy Hovington is a neuroscientist with a Ph.D. from McGill University, where her research focused on emotional and cognitive processes tied to stress and mental health. After years in clinical research, she became a mother of three and noticed a gap between what science knew about emotional regulation and what parents were actually taught to do at home.

That gap led her to found Curious Neuron, a platform that turns neuroscience research into practical tools for families. She now reaches parents in more than 70 countries through her podcast, articles, and live training cohorts, and has spoken at TEDx about parental stress and emotional support. Her work centers on helping both parents and children build the emotional awareness skills that clinical training rarely covers.
