Community Healing Network (CHN) was founded in October 2006 to overturn the lie of the racial hierarchy of human value, the false belief that whiteness is superior and Blackness inferior, and its effects on Black people. For its 20th anniversary, CHN broadened its mission to address the effects of the lie on all people and deepened its work in its hometown of New Haven, Connecticut.

Its initiatives include Community Healing Days, endorsed by the late Dr. Maya Angelou; Emotional Emancipation Circles, developed with the Association of Black Psychologists and held in more than 50 cities across the U.S., Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean; and the Global Truth Campaign and Tour.
