Daniele Schimizzi is the co-founder and CEO of MarshYellow, Italy's leading startup ecosystem. Born in 1991 in Ravenna, he founded the company in 2014 alongside co-founder Matteo Piccolo with a mission to create startup culture in a country that lacked it. Over the past decade, MarshYellow has organized dozens of events bringing together 10,000+ people across Italy, growing into one of the most recognized startup communities in the country.

In 2023, Daniele and Matteo launched MYonese — the online home of this movement — giving aspiring founders, freelancers, and investors a single platform to learn, connect, and build. His north star has always been simple: give people the community and tools he wished he'd had when starting out.
