Dr. David Leitner — known as Dr. D — is the founder of Rhydlwood and a strategy advisor with almost 20 years of experience working with executives, managers, founders, and teams across bootstrapped startups and large established organizations. A direct PhD graduate and former eight-year academic director at Bar-Ilan University, his expertise spans leadership, followership, and organizational strategy — grounded in disciplines that most business consultants don't touch.

Before his academic and advisory career, he served as a sniper in Maglan, one of the IDF's elite special operations units, during the Second Intifada. That background shapes his approach to strategy and leadership: direct, pressure-tested, and focused on what actually works when the stakes are high.
