About
I'm Dr. Teresa Vásquez, known as Dr. Vás, a Nashville-based radical technical leader working at the intersection of neurodistinction, technology, and workforce development. I founded Repped Labs with my daughter to design adaptive, data-driven neuroinclusive environments that center neurodistinct people, because our research on adult learners shows that when you do, all minds benefit.
As an award-winning software engineer, educator, and advocate, I've taught and mentored hundreds of technologists while leading initiatives that expand access to technical education. My recognition includes Software Engineer of the Year and the Joanne Eckton Excellence Award from the Nashville Technology Council, the Girls in Tech and Nike Hackathon win among dozens of hackathon victories, and Pitch for Good: Black Founders Edition from the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
I serve on the board of Women in Technology Tennessee (WiTT) and the Advisory Board of the Frist Center for Autism and Innovation.
