Erik is a Hollywood screenwriter and producer best known for his work on HBO's Band of Brothers and From the Earth to the Moon, projects for which he wrote multiple episodes and shared in two Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards. He has sold series pitches and written pilots at NBC and FOX, served on the writing staffs of two primetime dramas, and completed feature screenplay assignments for Universal, HBO, TNT, and Playtone. In 2025 he wrote and directed his debut feature film, The Elephant in the Room. Erik has taught screenwriting at UCLA Extension, National University, and The Writers Store, and is the author of The Idea: The Seven Elements of a Viable Story for Screen, Stage, or Fiction.
