Fiona Weaver, known as Fi, is a social worker, motherhood studies practitioner, Circle of Security facilitator, and mother of three based in Australia on Bundjalung land. After more than a decade working with families in inpatient settings, early parenting programs, and community-based support, she founded Mama Matters to be the soft landing she always wished she had. Fi holds deep conviction that babies are not problems to be fixed and mothers are not failing — the system around them is simply mismatched to their needs. Her work challenges outdated, one-size-fits-all parenting narratives in favour of nuance, connection, and maternal intuition. Mama Matters is the living expression of her belief that modern motherhood was never meant to be navigated alone.
