Charlie Melcher is the Founder and CEO of Future of StoryTelling (FoST), a storytelling studio and global community exploring how narrative, technology, and culture are changing the way audiences engage with stories.

In 1993, he founded Melcher Media, an award-winning book producer and creative studio known for creating innovative books and storytelling projects for major brands, cultural institutions, and figures. He has also helped pioneer new forms of digital storytelling, including award-winning interactive publishing projects created with partners such as Al Gore and Push Pop Press.

In 2012, Charlie launched the first FoST Summit, which grew into one of the storytelling world's most respected gatherings. Today, through FoST, the FoST Podcast, FoST for Good, and the FoST in Thought newsletter he continues to bring together artists, technologists, media leaders, designers, and changemakers around a simple belief: better stories can create a better future.
