Greg Patenaude is a Buddhist teacher, writer, and the Director of Younge Drodul Ling (YDL). Since 2004, he has studied extensively under the guidance of his root teacher, Younge Khachab Rinpoche, a modern-day Dzogchen master. Greg’s work focuses on making ancient Tibetan Buddhist traditions accessible and relevant to modern life. He has received numerous teachings and transmissions, completed traditional shedra studies, and diligently served Rinpoche in roles ranging from transcribing teachings to translating sacred texts used by the Sangha. Based in Seattle, Washington, he is dedicated to supporting practitioners on a life path centered on compassion, generosity, and kindness. He frequently leads meditation groups, retreats, and online classes aimed at helping others wake up to their true nature.
