I spent nineteen years at KPMG as a Chartered Accountant specialising in corporate finance — equity and debt capital raising, M&A advisory, valuation, and transaction execution. After that, I moved to Praetura Ventures as Investment Director, where I led investment decisions and provided strategic guidance to portfolio companies, supporting businesses in raising over £1bn across equity, debt, and grant funding.

I founded Capital Raise Community after seeing the same problem repeatedly: most founders are expected to run an institutional capital raise without ever being shown what that process actually looks like. Having operated on both sides of the table — advising companies, evaluating them as an investor, and observing where processes succeed or break down — I built this platform to give founders access to the same frameworks and processes used by professional advisors and investors.
