Keppie Coutts and Benny Romalis are professional songwriters, performers, and educators with decades of combined experience in both creating music and teaching the craft of songwriting.

Keppie has released multiple albums and co-written songs that have collectively been streamed millions of times, and she has taught songwriting at renowned contemporary music institutions around the world — including Berklee College of Music, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and other international schools.

Benny began his musical journey with poetry and guitar, eventually becoming a founding member and songwriter of a touring band and composing for major brands and media while teaching songwriting, production, and composition in higher education. Together they run the How To Write Songs platform with a mission to help songwriters of all levels improve their craft, write stronger songs with confidence, and support musicians through community, feedback, and structured learning.
