Jackie Kutia is the Manager of Events & Community at Whāriki, where she focuses on fostering connections and supporting business growth across the network. With a strong background in event management, hospitality, and community engagement, she brings a people-first approach to every initiative she leads.

Before joining Whāriki, Jackie spent several years at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, where she progressed from Events Coordinator to Event Manager — orchestrating high-profile events, managing complex logistics, and contributing to New Zealand's economic development on the global stage. She also worked as a Marketing and Communications Consultant, helping implement global communications strategies, developing offshore content, and supporting public relations, media, and social media initiatives.

Her skill set spans account management, customer service, retail operations, and strategic communications, with a sharp eye for detail and a talent for building meaningful relationships.
