Laurence is the founder of Black Mountain Honey, a family-run commercial bee farming business based in the Clywdian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Wales. He discovered beekeeping in 2015 when a swarm of bees landed in his Birmingham garden, and grew from a hobbyist with four colonies to the operator of a $1M/year beekeeping business in under five years. He holds full DASH (Disease Assurance Scheme for Honeybees) accreditation and runs a YouTube channel with 34,000+ subscribers dedicated to practical, no-nonsense beekeeping education.
