In my role I’m committed to finding meaningful ways to support people living with arthritis and MSK conditions. This includes creating welcoming spaces for connection, fostering conversation, and contributing my own experiences and insights.

In my previous role, I supported young people affected by arthritis from the moment of diagnosis in clinic through to the end of their education. I guided them through the challenges of diagnosis and helped them build face‑to‑face, peer‑to‑peer connections by bringing them together at events with others who shared similar experiences.

As both a volunteer and former participant in the service, I’ve been fortunate to receive support from Arthritis UK — support that inspired me to give back. I’m proud to have contributed 12 years of volunteering to the organisation, and I’m excited to now continue contributing in my new capacity as an employee.
