Markus Hölzl is a German architect and business owner of Hölzl Architektur, a practice based near Tegernsee in Bavaria. He grew up in a craftsperson-focused family environment, studied architecture at TU Munich, and has spent over twelve years working as an independent architect with deep experience in timber construction, building renovation, and project management. He also co-founded Neuecon & Partners - an architectural consulting agency for organizations - and Concrete Human - an artistic project making the psychological and emotional impact of architecture visible.

Markus founded Architects for Architects out of a belief that the profession works better when practitioners support each other directly — sharing real-world experience, strategies, and solutions that rarely show up in formal education. His focus is on creating a practical, peer-driven space where architects can grow entrepreneurial by creating solutions that can be offered to dedicated target groups.
