I’m Martin. I’ve spent more than fifteen years in HR and talent acquisition, mostly inside fast-moving startups and scale-ups where you learn quickly, adapt constantly, and figure out what actually helps people do their best work.

I started The People People Group in 2017 because I wanted a place where practitioners could be real with each other. No theory, just honest conversations about the challenges we all face. Today it has grown into North America’s most engaged platform of HR, recruitment, and operations pros who show up for each other and share what they have learned.

I host the podcast From A People Perspective, where I talk with outstanding humans who are doing this work with intention and transparency.
