Mohamed Alfaki is a bioinformatician and researcher with over eight years of experience in multi-omics data analysis, including genomics, transcriptomics, and immunogenomics. He is the founder of Careerz, a global bioinformatics and genetics research community and training platform.

Through Careerz, Mohamed has built an international community of over 1,200 members across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, delivering research-focused internship programs and short courses. His model is centered on a distinctive philosophy: “Your Certificate is Your Published Paper”, emphasizing real scientific output over traditional certification.

Under his leadership, Careerz has enabled approximately 100 trainees to contribute to more than 20 published scientific papers, with over 30 additional manuscripts currently in the publication pipeline. His work focuses on empowering students and early-career researchers to gain practical, publication-level experience in bioinformatics and precision medicine.
