Orshi is an English teacher and the founder of Orshi English. For 10 years she has taught with what she calls the Canadian method: learning English the way she did in Canada, by using it rather than memorizing rules. More than 390 students have learned with her.

She surveyed over 1,000 English learners and found that most struggle to speak up, follow fast speech and find anyone to practice with. That research shaped how she teaches: short daily lessons built around stories, a supportive community and personal answers to learners' questions.
