Hi, I’m Paul. I’ve spent my whole career building startups or working closely with the people behind them. Along the way, I’ve founded accelerator programmes—including London’s first pre-accelerator, FastForward—and advised hundreds of early-stage and scale-up founders.

I started ClimbWorks because I saw too many smart, capable teams being pushed in the wrong direction—chasing funding before they’d even figured out what kind of business they were really trying to build.

ClimbWorks exists to support a different kind of builder: self-funded, independent, and curious. People who want to create something real—on their own terms—without giving up control or compromising their values. I believe the best businesses grow from clarity, confidence, and the momentum that comes when you know where you’re going and why it matters.
