The Musical Theatre Writing Workshop Course is a comprehensive, cohort-based program designed to teach the essential foundations of musical theatre writing, from structure and song craft to collaboration and revision. Over 20 weeks, participants engage in weekly live sessions, practical exercises, and peer collaboration to build real skills in writing for musical theatre. Live, discussion-based sessions covering essential craft: 32-bar form, rhyme, scansion, song structure, collaboration, composition, show development, character, motif, comedy songs, and more.
Collaborative Writing
Work with multiple partners across six song challenges and rewrites, gaining real-world collaboration experience as composers and lyricists pair up in varied creative dynamics.
