Conducted in Spanish, Comunidad Estudia DDHH is a professional learning community for lawyers, law students, and human rights advocates who want to strengthen their expertise in international human rights law and connect with peers across Latin America. Led by Patricia Tarre Moser, former attorney at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, the community offers monthly mentorship sessions where members receive direct guidance on cases and questions. Members also attend monthly expert classes on topics voted by the community, access a library of 30+ recorded sessions on LGBTI rights, women's rights, judicial guarantees, freedom of expression, and CIDH litigation, and use an AI tool trained exclusively on Inter-American Court jurisprudence. University students can apply for a scholarship to participate actively in the community. Built on Circle, the platform is accessible on desktop and mobile for ongoing peer connection and engagement.
