No, GloSpeak isn't a teaching platform. This community is designed to amplify the learning you're already doing. You can bring your own tools (apps, notebooks, podcasts, shows, etc.), and GloSpeak provides the structure, encouragement, and accountability to turn those tools into lasting progress. If you're just starting out without resources of your own, GloSpeak is the perfect place to discover new resources that fit your learning style and cater to your interests. And along the way, you'll get plenty of chances to practice with others, swap insights, and learn directly from real conversations, so you'll still be growing your skills in meaningful ways without anyone "teaching" a formal lesson.

Not at all! You don’t need to spend a dime on extra books or apps to join GloSpeak. For calls, the basics are more than enough — a notebook, a pen, and internet access. Everything else is optional. In fact, one of the best parts of GloSpeak is that you’ll have time and space to use the resources you already enjoy, whether that’s YouTube, a podcast, your class notes, or even your go-to translation site. Different types of calls give you different chances to bring your favorite tools into the mix, and we’ll always leave room for you to get organized during the session. So keep it simple, and know that whatever you’re already using can fit right in here.

Yes! GloSpeak is designed to support learners who are studying one language or multiple. You'll be able to share wins, track your goals, and join calls no matter how many languages you're working on. P.S. All quarterly self-assessments give members the opportunity to assess their skills in multiple languages if they're interested in tracking their growth in more than one target language.

There is no minimum time commitment and no "right way" to participate. GloSpeak is built to meet you where you are, so that part is completely up to you. Your membership is designed to support your goals — whether you're studying an hour a week or ten. There’s no minimum commitment, and no right or wrong way to engage. You might join a call, post your progress in the community, check in on your own goals, or just stay quietly consistent in the background. However you show up, you’ll be supported, and the more you lean in, the more you’ll get out of it.
