The Living Library is Herban Cura's digital school and archive — and the Herb of the Month space is where that education comes alive one plant at a time. Each month, you'll explore a featured herb through the lens of ecology, ancestral memory, cultural history, and practical use, guided by a constellation of facilitators including herbalists, land stewards, seed keepers, and researchers from around the world.

This isn't a typical herb course. The Living Library traces the socio-political histories of plants, uncovering how they've been cultivated, colonized, reclaimed, and celebrated across cultures. You'll build a richer, more grounded relationship with the plants around you — from common kitchen herbs to medicinal allies — while engaging with a community that takes both plants and justice seriously.

Membership gives you access to 200+ hours of recorded knowledge shares, live sessions throughout the year, a dynamic herb glossary, community forum, and discounts on Herban Cura's beyond-organic herbal remedies and CSA. Whether you're a curious beginner, a student of herbalism, or a practitioner deepening your roots, this is a space where the learning never stops and every plant has a story worth knowing.
