LGBTQ+ Arab Virtual Drop-In Support Group is a clinically facilitated, drop-in support group for LGBTQ+ individuals from Middle Eastern backgrounds, led by Tiffany Totah, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of practice. It exists because so much of the Middle East offers LGBTQ+ people no safe way to be themselves, and this group is built to be that rare place.
Sessions are virtual, confidential, and accessible, with no pressure or expectations attached. Members join to connect with others who understand the specific weight of navigating LGBTQ+ identity within Middle Eastern family and cultural expectations, in a private space that does not require ongoing commitment to attend.
