The Left Book Club is a UK not-for-profit book club founded to bring people together to discuss world-changing books and develop their own critical perspective on capitalism. The Academy Membership is for people who want access to the learning and community without a monthly book arriving at the door.
You get access to the club's online courses, which sit inside the member community where you can talk with other learners. When you want a book, you buy it from the club's website at your own pace instead of committing to a regular delivery.
It suits readers who prefer to pick their own titles, work through courses on their own schedule and still be part of a wider, politically engaged reading community.
Outcomes
- Deepen your grasp of key social and political issues
- Learn alongside a community of engaged readers
- Choose your own reading pace and titles
- Connect theory with discussion and action
- Build confidence joining the conversation
