This Swedish-language community, called Mamman var här ("the mother was here"), was created by photographer Louise Nordberg for mothers who want to make sense of this chaotic, fleeting stage of life. Rather than only writing about their experience, members reach for a camera. Photographing small, everyday moments - a hand on a stomach, a messy breakfast table, a quiet afternoon nap - helps mothers slow down and experience this time more deeply, while igniting their own creative spark. It also gives them a space that belongs only to them in the middle of family chaos, and turns into a real record their children can carry with them over time.

Members who are new to photography can start from scratch with Louise's course, A Life Documented, learning to use a DSLR camera before moving into the community. Everyone else can jump straight into the monthly content, built around a single theme - like movement or seeing - broken into four parts released week by week: Discover, Explore, Story, and Remember. A course library lets members go deeper on any topic at their own pace, and interviews with other photographers connected to motherhood offer fresh perspective and a chance to reflect on their own journey. The goal is for photography to become a natural, easy, and fun part of daily life - sparking creativity while preserving real memories from this season.
