Technologists for the Public Good is a professional association fostering a network of technologists, designers, engineers, data scientists, product managers, policy experts committed to building better public services. Founded in 2021, TPG equips members through mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, and networking events that span disciplines and sectors. Members gain access to learning opportunities like conferences, training, advocacy efforts, and peer collaboration designed to strengthen government technology practices. At TPG, we champion inclusion, innovation, and the sustainable growth of the public interest tech field.

We support cross-sector technologists especially those historically underrepresented by offering career development, community building, and advocacy platforms to advance public interest technology. From mentorship and resume reviews to workforce research and strategic advocacy, TPG helps technologists thrive while helping government work better.
