The Networking Studio

The Networking Studio is designed to help freelance editors build stronger businesses, stronger professional networks, and become more confident in the work they do. By participating in the community, you can expect to build meaningful relationships with other editors, discover opportunities for collaboration and referrals, learn from experienced publishing professionals, and gain practical strategies for finding and retaining clients. (Most editors become booked out months in advance after 6 months of being in our group sessions). You’ll also have a supportive community to turn to when you have questions, need feedback, or simply want to connect with people who understand the realities of freelance editorial work. The more actively you participate, the more opportunities you’ll create for yourself.

The Networking Studio’s Writers Group is designed to help you make meaningful progress on your book while connecting with other writers who understand the journey. You can expect encouragement, accountability (coworking sessions), practical guidance (ask an editor), opportunities to learn from publishing professionals, and a welcoming space to ask questions and share your work. Whether you’re just getting started or trying to finally finish a project that’s been on your mind for years, the goal is to help you move your book forward—and feel less alone while doing it. Plus, we all want you to get your book published!

As a member of The Networking Studio, you get more than access to a community—you get regular opportunities to learn, connect, and make progress. Members have access to weekly live online sessions, including guest speakers who share their expertise, focused coworking sessions to help you get things done, and group coaching sessions where you can ask questions and get practical guidance. Members also receive access to bonus educational sessions designed specifically to help you navigate the editing, writing, or publishing process. Plus, you’ll have a community of publishing professionals you can turn to for encouragement, ideas, connections, and support along the way.
