USGBC-CA (U.S. Green Building Council California) is a statewide nonprofit community that unites architects, developers, students, and environmental advocates working to transform California's built environment into a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable place. Community Commons is the organization's online hub, giving members access to a professional directory, job board, building performance calculator, and an AI-powered support agent offering role-specific guidance.

Members can plug into climate action programs covering green homes, water conservation, wildfire recovery, and extreme heat resilience, alongside workforce development resources like training, certificate programs, and internships. The community also supports policy and advocacy work shaping California's building standards, plus events and awards that recognize leaders in green building. Whether you are a student entering the field or a seasoned professional, USGBC-CA connects you with a statewide network of people advancing sustainable design and construction.
