Women Thrive: The Spotlight Community

Many experienced speakers hit a ceiling: they have expertise and a message worth sharing, but no clear path to stages, no consistent bookings, and no one giving them honest feedback on their talks. The Spotlight was built for women who already have knowledge or a story to share and want to turn that into a real speaking career, not just the occasional podcast interview. Founded by Raimonda Jankunaite as part of Women Thrive, the community connects speakers so opportunities move through referrals and relationships instead of cold pitching.

Inside, members move through a handful of connected spaces: they introduce themselves and network in the Spotlight Lounge, prepare and polish talks in the Green Room, practice out loud during Open Mic Night, and trade stage leads in the Stage Exchange. The Backstage Vault holds trainings, bio templates, and other resources for building a speaker's credibility, and regular connection calls and expert-led sessions keep members practicing and improving. Women Thrive has grown to more than 600,000 women since its first event in London in 2017, and The Spotlight gives speakers inside that network a place to be seen, get feedback, and step into paid, higher-profile stages together rather than trying to break in alone.
