He is best known as the host of the Travel Channel's Gem Hunt, where he took audiences on expeditions to source rare gemstones directly from their origins.

After decades working as a treasure hunter for hire for high-net-worth clients and jewelers worldwide, Ron created the Guild as a place where serious collectors, traders, and gem enthusiasts can access the knowledge, networks, and field opportunities that were previously available only to insiders.
