Rossella Pivanti has worked in audio for most of her career, starting as a DJ and radio host before becoming a full-time independent podcast producer. She founded and ran Insomnia Studios for more than a decade, producing over 70 podcast series, including branded work for companies such as MINI, BPER Banca, and Lavazza, and wrote Branded Podcast Producer to share what she learned along the way.

That teaching instinct led her to create PodNest Academy, where she now trains new producers directly. She also teaches as a Spotify Sound Up instructor, serves as artistic director for the IlPod podcast awards, and speaks regularly at industry events like TEDx.
