Shannon is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice, host of The Tarot Diagnosis podcast, and creator of The Symposium community. She holds a B.A. in Applied Clinical Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Shannon has authored four books including Tarot & Self-Discovery, The Year of The Hermit, A Year with the Wheel of Fortune, and Dark Shadow, Golden Shadow (published by Weiser). Through The Symposium, Shannon brings together tarot enthusiasts and psychology fans for workshops, book clubs, and ongoing exploration of the intersection between tarot and mental health. Her work is grounded in the idea that tarot is a powerful tool for self-understanding and personal growth.
