I’m Dr. Shina Halavi, a neuropsychologist, UCLA Clinical Assistant Professor, and founder of The Neuro Scene. I assess and provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults facing academic, cognitive, emotional, and medical challenges while coordinating care across disciplines. Guided by my belief in interdisciplinary collaboration, I’ve launched dynamic professional networks to help clinicians and families connect with the expertise they need.

My doctoral training at UCLA and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles included collaborating in interdisciplinary clinics and leading programs for children with complex needs. I employ an integrative, patient-centered approach advocating for continuity of care alongside colleagues from medicine, psychology, and education. Outside of work, I balance clinical practice with family, painting, tennis, and writing children’s books bringing creativity and compassion to everything I do.
