Vivien Vilela is the founder of Aniwa, an international platform sharing Indigenous wisdom through online teachings, gatherings, and retreats. Her path began far from the Amazon, as a successful model in London, before she moved into the jungle and took a sacred oath to serve as a Marakame, a healer, singer, and dreamer trained in Indigenous tradition.

Over more than a decade, Vivien has worked to build ethical relationships between Indigenous peoples and the wider world, helping preserve Indigenous cultures and protect wild spaces across the Americas. She created Aniwa to bring elders' teachings to a global audience, and later founded the Huya Aniwa Foundation to continue that work of preserving sacred land and supporting native collectives.
