Amy Wright Glenn holds an MA from Columbia University and is a DONA- and INELDA-trained birth and death doula, a Kripalu-certified yoga instructor, and a hospital chaplain. She has authored two books exploring the sacred thresholds of birth, breath, and death, and also teaches at a local arts-integrated school.
In 2015, Amy founded The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath, and Death to create a home for professionals and individuals who hold space for life's most transformative moments. She leads the Institute's courses, teacher trainings, and support circles, with a strong commitment to gender, economic, and racial equity and inclusion in the field.
