Founded in 2015 by Amy Wright Glenn, The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath, and Death is a home for all who hold space for life's most sacred thresholds. Members get unlimited access to weekly support circles, grief groups, and meditation and yoga practices, alongside live and self-guided courses such as Holding Space for Pregnancy Loss, Grief Work Training, Ancestor Work, and Yoga for Pregnancy Loss. The Institute also offers individual holding-space sessions, mentorship, and scholarship funding, plus teacher trainings in Birth, Breath, and Death work, Shadow Work, and Yoga for Grief. The community welcomes a diverse mix of midwives, chaplains, therapists, bereaved parents, and spiritual practitioners, with a strong emphasis on gender, economic, and racial equity and inclusion.
