Breathwork Therapist and Somatic Movement Guide
About
Carla McGreevy spent years building a successful corporate career in London before her body forced her to stop. At 27, after running on adrenaline and busyness for as long as she could remember, she was diagnosed with CPTSD, and a therapist prescribed her something she initially resisted: breathwork and meditation. That reluctant first practice became the foundation of the work she now does full-time.
Carla has spent the two decades since immersed in movement and healing work, training in Compassionate Inquiry under Gabor Maté's approach to trauma, and studying somatic psychology with Tara Judelle, a direct student of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, creator of Body-Mind Centering. She founded her breathwork and somatic movement practice, and later her Ocean Healing community, to offer other women — particularly those who, like her, mistake overworking for okay — a compassionate way back into their bodies rather than another program to force their way through.
