David R. Carothers, CIC, CRM, holds degrees in Management and Marketing from Birmingham Southern College and has spent nearly two decades in insurance and risk management. Before starting his own firm, he was an Enterprise Sales Advisor for a multi-million dollar commercial risk management agency and a founding member of Praxiom Risk Management, LLC.

In 2016, David launched Florida Risk Partners, an insurance and risk management firm focused on middle-market commercial accounts across the Tampa Bay region. He is also the founder of Killing Commercial Insurance Training, host of The Power Producers Podcast, and creator of the coaching community Power Producer Base Camp. David is an international best-selling author of The Extra 2 Minutes and The Dirty 130, and he built his career on challenging producers to move past transactional selling toward reducing clients total cost of risk.
