That experience shaped the community's approach: rather than promising overnight breakthroughs, it focuses on consistent, collaborative habits that help writers keep showing up.

Today, Feral Writing Society brings together fantasy, romantasy, and romance writers through co-writing sessions, craft conversations, and a peer network built for genre fiction specifically. Guest speakers, writing challenges, and a beta reader network round out a space designed around one idea: finishing a manuscript is easier with the right people alongside you.
