Nope! There’s no curriculum, no modules, and no one telling you how to write your book. FWS is an active community where we write together, talk craft, ask for help, share feedback, and generally figure things out alongside other writers. We do have masterclasses, workshops, and resources to learn from, but you can use as much or as little of that as you want.

Those are our main genres, but genre mashups and adjacent genres are absolutely welcome. If your book has one foot somewhere in fantasy, romance, or romantasy, you’ll probably fit right in.

All welcome! We have writers working on their very first book, people deep in revisions, writers querying and publishing, and published authors with multiple books out. You don’t need to be at a particular stage to belong here.

Not at all. You can share pages, ask for feedback, and find readers when you want to, but none of it is required. You’re equally welcome to show up, write alongside everyone, join conversations, and keep your manuscript entirely to yourself.

Anyone who can teach us something useful about writing, publishing, or the business around it. That includes authors, editors, cover artists, publishing professionals, marketers, web designers, and other people who know their stuff.

Because keeping FWS active and worth coming back to takes real time and real people. Membership helps pay for guest speakers, moderators, assistants, events, resources, and everything else that goes into running the community. I also believe strongly in paying people fairly for their work. As FWS grows, I want that money going back into the writers, editors, speakers, and other humans who make this place better.

Yep! You get seven days to explore the community, join conversations, attend co-writing sessions and other events, and see if FWS feels like your kind of place. If it isn’t, just cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.

Fair question! FWS is built around things that give us a reason to actually keep coming back: regular co-writing sessions, masterclasses, book club, writing challenges, craft conversations, and plenty of opportunities to get to know each other. I'm also in there with you! I'm writing my own book, coming to sessions, joining conversations, and building this as a community I genuinely want to be part of too. Will that guarantee we're all still arguing about fictional people ten years from now? I can't promise that. But I'm certainly going to try. 😉
