The Impact Communications Institute (ICI) is a global network advancing impact communications, a purpose-led discipline for PR and communications that puts real-world impact first. ICI was founded by communicators from organizations including Ben & Jerry’s, KIND Snacks, Yulu Public Relations, Sustainable Brands, and Porter Novelli, who wanted to close the gap between purpose-driven storytelling and the outcomes that should stand behind it.
ICI is built for emerging and early-career communicators working toward social and environmental change, whether they work at an agency, a nonprofit, a global brand, a small purpose-driven company, or somewhere else entirely. Many are figuring things out on their own. ICI gives them a place to learn the practice, think through hard calls with peers, and connect with experienced practitioners. Free membership is the starting point, with Pro membership for those who want to go deeper.
