Lisa Bowleg, PhD, MA, is an internationally renowned intersectionality scholar and the founder and CEO of the Intersectionality Training Institute (ITI), the organization behind The Intersectionality Collective. She is recognized as a leading authority on intersectionality theory and its applications to health equity, social justice, and research methodology. Her work has been featured in academic publications globally, and she has lectured and keynoted at major intersectionality conferences including ISI 2025.
